My name is Dave Wetmore. I am 24-years-old and sexy. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2008 with a BA in Journalism and a minor constituting a very reputable degree: Drinking My Face Off.

Aside from my small family, a number of fickle females, and taking myself extremely seriously, there are very few things that supersede rock climbing on my list of priorities.  As a sponsored climber, freelance journalist, climbing coach, and head-setter, finding my place within this complicated industry has been a constant evolution—an introspective battle on humility. Despite the fact that I have come to realize that we are just climbers, not super humans in the midst of discovering the cure for cancer or international heroes fighting to alleviate global hunger, I still know exactly where I belong and why I’m doing what I do (Read: To feed my insatiable ego).

My point is this. I have hustled a living out of climbing. I want nothing more and nothing less. As long as my dingleberry of a body can handle it, I’ll be outside flailing with the best of them until the Sun explodes in the God-damn sky.

This website is my outlet for the passion that has inevitably brought me here and the deeper I can dig into this labyrinth of creativity, exploration, and pool of genuine people, the better. I hope you have as much fun with these posts over the next few million years as I have had creating them.

Cheers!
